Capture selection to new Evernote doesn't work

When I select text and try to use the “Copy to new Evernote” extension, a little “X” appears and shakes back and forth, apparently to indicate “nope”.

v. 2025.9.1 with Tahoe

Can you please try signing out of Evernote in the extension settings, and signing back in?

Well damn, that worked! As designed, I guess.

And I’ll have to do this all over again in a year?
Thank you. PopClip is the best! When I use a Mac that doesn’t have it, it’s like “Whoa! Something’s missing!”

It’s because Evernote’s login token is time limited, I think. PopClip doesn’t have a way to know that. Another thing I’d like to improve! I think maybe the extension could be modified to detect this situation and show a message to log in again,

Still having problems with the Evernote clipper. Haven’t tried to compile statistics, but I’d say it works less than half the time.

Just checked PopClip settings, and it says I am logged into Evernote.

Everything on my M2 MacBook Air is up to date.

PopClip settings won’t accurately reflect if Evernote has logged us out. Maybe worth trying to log out and log in again.
