Dictionary module and Online Dictionary extension

I have installed the Online Dict extension and it appears as expected on text selections.

Otherwise I have noticed the Dictionary module does only sometimes appear on text selections. My hunch is the Dictionary module appears only when the Dictionary app contains the selection?

Is this correct? Can we then with custom extensions or (even easier) with extension snippets tap into checks like this?

The built in Dictionary action only appears when the selected word has an entry in one of the installed & enabled dictionarites within the macOS Dictionary app.

However, this check is custom for the built in dictionary extension and isn’t available as a general check for all extensions.
