Love the refresh. I’ve noticed that icons sometimes disappear – custom-built ones, eg “Set Name As” for DEVONthink and official ones, for example Perplexity. Redownloading and installing the extension seems to work, although I’m not sure about the custom ones.
This would not be 2025.9 specific but rather it can happen if you run a “Mac cleaner” type app that deletes PopClip’s caches folder. Some extensions including Perplexity have their icons specified as Iconify icons which are downloaded form the internat at install time. PopClip saves them in ~/Library/Caches/com.pilotmoon.popclip/IconCache but cleaner apps might delete this caches folder to free up space.

I didn’t change anything! It might just depend whether you have internet access at the time PopClip launches. PopClip always tries to reload all missing icons at launch time.
