I hope you are well.
This Mac app, Goodlinks https://goodlinks.app/ has recently added an API to add/retrieve contents. I think it would be a great idea for Popclip to be able to add URLs to Goodlinks via the API.
…
A great suggestion, and the new local API works brilliantly. I’ve created a new extension in the directory here: GoodLinks — PopClip Extensions
Nice one, works. One glitch (tested repeatedly here): When pasting the API key, it just shows one symbol, when focussing another interface element the concealed API key in its whole length is displayed.
You might get a text icon if PopClip can’t reach Iconify to download the icon. Do you perhaps have a firewall that is stopping PopClip from reaching the internet?
I’m seeing the same here with the one symbol. It’s because it’s wrapping. That’s not an extension thing, though, but something in public of itself, which I’ll note down to work on.
I’m not getting the API key being displayed, though. I can’t seem to reproduce that. Could you possibly record a short screen video to show it? Not with your real key, of course.
Ah, I see. Yes, that’s reassuring. I think perhaps the control is set for multi-line wrapping, and I probably just need to edit a property of the text box.
