Google search extension with copy?

I use the Google search extension all the time. I love the functionality of PopClip.

I wish the Google search extension would also throw the highlighted text into the clipboard before it returns the Google results. It would make further searches easier with Maccy.

Or can I modify/code my own?

Hi @casarodante, welcome to the forum.

I’ve already added this as an experimental feature in PopClip 2026.7. Run the following command in Terminal to turn on the feature:

defaults write com.pilotmoon.popclip CopyOnSearch -bool YES

PopClip will then copy the searched text to the clipboard whenever activating either the built-in search action or any extension that does a search.
