You may have noticed the pace of adoption of new extensions in the PopClip Extensions Directory has been slow. That’s because maintaining a large monolithic repo containing hundreds of extensions has become rather onerous.
To solve the problem, I’ve come up with a new way to submit extensions to the directory. It is now ready, and I encourage you to use it.

Submit an Extension 
Extensions are no longer maintained in a single central repository. Instead, you’ll keep your extension in your own public GitHub repo, and the directory will pull it in whenever you push a version tag. You keep control of the code, and you can submit updates, which will be delivered to users automatically.
I’ll review each submission individually to ensure it’s not malicious, but I won’t be picky about what I accept. That’s because new user-submitted extensions won’t be automatically listed on the directory front page. Instead, your extensions will appear on your own public author page.
The directory front page will remain a curated collection of the best and most popular extensions. I may choose to show your extension on the front page, but this is not guaranteed.
My hope is to encourage a new wave of user-contributed extensions.
