I’m experiencing this problem when using Dvorak-Qwerty keyboard layout on my Macbook, as it does not recognize the Qwerty ⌘C. When I toggle back to regular Qwerty layout, it works as expected.
Hi Troy, what version of PopClip are you using? I fixed a bug with Dvorak-Qwerty in version 2024.3. (If you’re on MAS verison 2023.9, see here: Migrate from the Mac App Store (MAS) edition to the Standalone edition — PopClip)
I’m on the Setapp version, which is 2024.12 (4688).
What’s the exact name of the keyboard layout you use. Is it “Dvorak - QWERTY ⌘”, or another variant?
Copy/Paste/Cut is not working on version 2025.9.1 when using keyboard Dvorak - QWERTY ⌘
It works just fine on the U.S. keyboard. Any chance this will be fixed in a future update? Thanks!
Thanks for reporting. PopClip has specific provision for Dvorak - QWERTY ⌘ and it works for me on my macOS 15 machine but not on macOS 26. Looks like they changed something! Can you confirm whether you are on macOS 26?
I wasn’t at the initial report (I was on 15 with a MacBook Air M4 at the time), but I have since upgraded the OS and can confirm it’s not working on 26 (tested popclip copy/paste). Thanks for checking in, I know this is a very narrow edge case
Seems there could be two issues. The macOS 26 one (which I can reproduce) and whatever issue @Troy_Kitch was having earlier in the year (which I could not reproduce). I’ll approach macOS 26 first and hope it fixes it for Troy as well.
Thank you, Nick! I’m on macOS 26 and all is working on this latest update, 2025.9.2. ![]()
