Open in Firefox, 2 windows

When I use Open in Firefox extension,
it always open a blank Firefox and my target url site page,
is this normal that the Firefox should working this way?

I get this when I use Brave…which is not my default browser.

When PopClip opens a URl in a browser it does it by the macOS standard API to ask an app to open a URL. It’s the app itself that chooses what to do with it (new tab, new window etc.).

I’ve noticed that if Firefox has an update pending to install, it will open in the new window. Perforumin the Firefox update will usually fix it.

I’m not sure about Opera.
