Popclip not working

I am using Popclip via SetApp. My activity monitor shows it is running but it is not working. I cannot find it in my menu bar. I have stopped running Bartender so that is not the problem. I have tried killing PopClip in the activity monitor and then reactivating it but still nothing. Any suggestions?

Usually when this symtom happens it is because of Bartender or a similar app.

Hoever as you are not running Bartender — or any similar app? — I don’t have a ready answer.

Can you start with a clean reinstall as follows:

  1. Quit PopClip, delete it.

  2. Clean the prefs by typing in Terminal:
    defaults delete com.pilotmoon.popclip
    (warning - you will need to reinstall extensions after this)

  3. Restart Mac.

  4. Reinstall PopClip
