PopClip stuck on Helium browser

@nick Good news, after upgrading to 26.1, popclip is working normally! No more lag

Ah, good! Thank you for the update

The issue still seems to occur intermittently. I’m not sure of the exact cause, but it often happens after I close my laptop lid and leave it for several hours. The only solution that resolves the stuck state is to restart the computer; force-quitting Helium and PopClip does not fix the problem.

@nick I am having this happen, only with the latest version of popclip. Previous versions do not have any issues. It also does not seem to be all things that break. Only search is ā€˜broken’ (takes a very long time to process for me)

Hi there. This is a bug with the browser hanging when asked by PopClip to execute an AppleScript. It may be that reinstalling Helium and/or restarting the Mac will fix it. If not, you can enter the above Terminal command to work around it. (There’ll be a slight degradation of PopClip functionality, but in general you won’t notice it unless you use Shift to open background tabs or use incognito or private tabs a lot.)
