Problem installing Lowercase and Uppercase extensions on new beta

Hi, I can’t install the extensios:
Uppercase
Lowercase

The version of PopClip is the latest:
PopClip Build 5898 (5898; 2 Jul 2026)
Standalone Edition - Beta

Help, is important to me, use this extensions.

Thanks for raising this. Let’s try to get to the bottom of it.

I’m not aware of there being a problem with installing either the Uppercase or Lowercase extension from the PopClip Extensions directory on Beta 5898. It works for me.

Are you installing from the official extensions repository?

• Uppercase: Uppercase — PopClip Extensions
• Lowercase: Lowercase — PopClip Extensions

If it is still not working when installing from these links, can you tell me more about the problem? Is there an error message?

Yes, it’s from official extensions repository.Maybe this extension in your link, is a newer version.I’m tryng right now.

PERFECT!!!

The link of the extensions, have the newer extensions.

The old one, appears the pop up saying:
“Extension Install Error
Cannot define ‘identifier’ in dynamic config.”

But ok, now it’s working perfectly.

I just installed the beta, and was presented with this message. Haven’t had time to investigate yet, but first thing is to re-download and reinstall the extensions.

Thanks. Yes, re-adding and re-installing the extensions will fix it. There’s an issue with really old versions of some extensions that are “non compliant”.

Going forward, automatic updates for extensions will solve this stuff.

I’ve got some ideas how to solve this for the beta too, because these errors are annoying! Thanks for reporting.
