Some buttons in PopClip menu bar settings panel are not clickable

Hi,

I encountered a strange issue with PopClip’s menu bar settings panel.

Some items in the settings window opened from the menu bar are not clickable.
For example, in the lower part of the panel, the buttons or checkboxes do not respond to mouse clicks, while the upper part works normally.

This only happens in the PopClip menu bar panel. Other menu bar apps work normally.

Environment:
Mac: Apple Silicon Mac
macOS: (macOS Tahoe 26.3)

What I have already tried:

  • Restarted PopClip
  • Changed display resolution
  • Disabled third-party menu bar tools
  • Reset PopClip preferences
  • Restarted Dock / WindowServer

None of these solved the problem.

Interestingly, opening PopClip preferences directly via Spotlight (launching PopClip.app) works normally. The issue only occurs when opening the panel from the menu bar.

Is this a known UI bug?

Thanks!

Hello, you didn’t specify which version of PopClip you are using, but from the symptoms you describe it sounds like you’re using an old version of PopClip (likely the final Mac App Store version, 2023.9). The thing to do is to download and install the latest version, 2025.9.2:

You may also need to take a look at the migration instructions from the Mac App Store version to the Standalone version:
