I’ve flagged a few entries as SPAM, but have hit the limit of the number of items that I can flag. I’m getting a message along the lines of You have performed this action too many times, please wait 23 hours before performing the action again. Sorry I can’t flag any more of the SPAM entries.

Thank you. Seems to be some kind of ongoing attack

Right now a new account is posting spam.
I also can’t flag anymore, as I run out of flagging actions. On a small Discourse like this lowering the number of flags before a post is hidden might help.
If spam becomes a regular occurrence, Discourse Akismet - plugin - Discourse Meta might help.

Thanks folks. I’ve made that change regarding flagging and also increased the number of flags that users have.
For now I have also enabled approval for new sign ups which has stopped the spam, but I don’t really want to have to keep that on forever.
Update: I have changed from new user approval to first post approval.
