I have tried to use Claude for making an extension for Claude, but it was working on a complex extension with several options like also translating, text approval, etc. It worked on it for an hour but never succeeded to go beyond some spinning stars. Anybody else tried to do this?

Did you try to write one extension at a time?
What did you want the extension to do?
Also, what helps is to give Claude a few examples of what you want in order to guide the AI.
You can navigate Chrome to the extension page on the Popclip site and Claude can use Chrome to read it and get what it needs to write extensions.
